Predict the risk of trans fats & detect the contamination in edible oils
Trans fats are a type of unsaturated fats. They are mainly formed during the process of hydrogenation of vegetable oils.
Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) regulations state that trans-fat content has to be clearly labelled on the food products. The Indian authorities are planning for a new regulation to reduce the trans-fats content in the vegetable oils, vegetable fat and hydrogenated vegetable oil to 2% by 2022.
Eurofins state-of-the-art laboratories and reliable analytical methods can do a proper quantification of fatty acids and clear labelling of your products for better consumer awareness and brand safety.
